Well, I’m back from vacation and things are going full steam ahead in the youth department @ Crosspoint! Thanks to Bill Moore and the rest of the leaders for taking care of youth nights, car washes and so on while I was on vacation.
Here’s what’s happening in August — more detailed posts with follow for these events, but here’s a quick look at the month:
*Magic Mountain — this Wednesday! $35, be at the church before 8am, we’ll be back by 6pm. You need to sign-up to attend, so call the church if you haven’t done so yet. We’ve rented a school bus for transportation.
*Youth Night — July 31 — 6:30 – 8:00pm
*African Children’s Choir — August 1 @ 7pm @ Crosspoint! Don’t miss this! (free-will offering)
*Youth Night — August 7 — 6:30 – 8:00pm
*Caton’s Island Youth Camp! August 10-15 // It’s not too late to register, so let me know if you’re interested. It’s going to an incredible and life-changing week! Check out www.catonsisland.com for more info.
*Youth Night — August 21 — 6:30 – 8:00pm (Crazy wet + messy games night! Come prepared with clothes + towels)
*Fundy Trip! August 24-26 — Sign up today for this awesome, annual trip. Cost is $60 and includes travel, food, activities (kayaking, hiking, campers admissions + fees, etc) and everything else.
*Youth Night — August 28th — 6:30 – 8:00pm (Slip ‘n Slide Part Two!)
